The City of Calgary’s ReTree YYC program has been working diligently on the recovery and restoration of the urban forest from last September’s snowstorm, or also now commonly referred to as Snowtember. The recovery and restoration, which will happen over the next three years, will ensure Calgary holds a strong and resilient canopy for generations to come. The City Charter aims to grant the big cities of Calgary and Edmonton more authority and flexibility in providing the services that citizens want and expect. CALGARY, AB – June 12, 2015 Calgary City Councillor Diane Colley-Urquhart is lending her full support behind the Supreme Court Ruling on their medical marihuana decision. The Court’s unanimous decision will allow patients to consume marihuana and its derivatives through various forms – not just limited to smoking.
