FAQ on the Hwy 22X Off-Leash Dog Park

My office has heard from several residents and pet owners in regards to the closing of the 22X off-leash area located in the median of Highway 22X by Spruce Meadows (James Mckevitt Road and Spruce Meadow Way). Below, we hope to answer any and all questions pertaining to the park closure. Who owns this area? The off-leash dog park area is within The Province’s Transportation Utility Corridor (TUC) and is owned by The Province through the Alberta Infrastructure Department.
