CALGARY, AB – August 11, 2015 A two-day music event that took place over the weekend of August 7 and 8, 2015 at Fort Calgary attracted anywhere from 14,000 – 20,000 people. ReTree YYC in Ward 13

The City of Calgary’s ReTree YYC program has been working diligently on the recovery and restoration of the urban forest from last September’s snowstorm, or also now commonly referred to as Snowtember. The recovery and restoration, which will happen over the next three years, will ensure Calgary holds a strong and resilient canopy for generations to come. With Canada Day and the Calgary Stampede just around the corner, there are lots of upcoming festivities happening in Calgary over the next couple of weeks.
